11. Need to boost your referrals? How to start networking with churches as a Christian therapist

Are you wanting to network with churches but not sure how to begin? In this episode, I teach you my most effective method for reaching out to churches in order to build connections that lead to viable referrals.

Use this script as a template for sending an email to a ministry leader inviting them to meet with you to learn about your counseling practice:

Hi ________________,

My name is _________.  I’m a Christian therapist who recently started a practice in the area (or I have a Christian counseling practice located at…), and I’m looking to connect with local churches in order to learn how I can be a resource to those who might be in need of therapy.

I specialize in working with ____________ (describe your ideal client), and I love integrating faith into the process of therapy when given the opportunity.

I would love the chance to meet with you in person or via zoom to get to know you and share more about the work I do with ___________.  You can also learn more about my practice here: (website or profile link)

Please let me know if you are interested and when you might be available.

I look forward to connecting with you,
